We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Radiologic Technologist from the Philippines, with experience in diagnostic imaging and a strong commitment to patient care. In this role, you will operate X-ray equipment, assist patients with positioning, and ensure the production of high-quality images while maintaining safety standards. Your technical expertise and ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment will contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for X-rays, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Follow radiation safety procedures, including proper use of protective gear for patients and staff.
- Accurately process and evaluate X-ray images for clarity and quality before submitting them to physicians for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging logs and procedure documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and maintain required certifications.
Skills & Experiences
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid PRC license as a Radiologic Technologist; PSRT certification is an advantage. (as required).
- Strong knowledge of radiology principles, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with positioning and perform repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in using radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting, with a focus on diagnostic imaging.
